Marc-Andre ter Stegen is ready to fight and not be force into submission by Barcelona

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is demanding the full €42m salary from his contract until 2028 if Barcelona want him to leave this summer.

But the German will no longer be part of the Blaugrana squad in a move that could force the player to leave.
That has anger Ter Stegen, who has left frustrate by the club’s sudden change of attitude. With no one telling him after last season that he would not be part of their plans next term.
Barcelona are keen to offload Ter Stegen for a fee to facilitate a move, but the German is adamant he will stay and compete for his place.
But if the club wants him to move, he will have to pay the full salary on the remaining contract until 2028, which is worth 42 million euros.
All of which means this does not look like a situation that is going to be resolve any time soon. Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has urged Barca to let Ter Stegen know what’s going on, but with the goalkeeper now heading for some time off that may have to wait.
